Hotel Kovač

The beginnings of the Kovač family date back to the 18th century, when they were a popular stop for carriages. In 1972, the eldest son Anton started the Inn. In addition to the Inn, it has expanded the annex with lodging and expanded its catering offer. The turning point was in 2002 when the old building was demolished and a family hotel built in the ethnic style of Peter Klepec.
In 2009, the annex was completely renovated, with 14 double rooms and 2 + 2 family rooms. All rooms are categorized with three stars.
Each room has a TV, telephone, internet, minibar, bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer. The facility with shared beds is intended for nature schools, sports groups, clubs, cyclists, mountaineers. It includes a room with 1- 16 beds, a room with 2- 8 beds, a room with 3 - 6 beds and a loft with 25 beds.
The restaurant prepares delicious local dishes. On the menu, in addition to the classic dishes, you can find culinary delights of the Kolpa Valley, such as fresh river trout, venison, mushrooms or stuffed veal.
The Kovac Hotel offers a Spa & Wellness Center, and recreation is provided at the Kovac Sports Center, featuring an adrenalin park, 2 tennis courts, team building training ground, archery training ground, paintball training ground, volleyball court, and a basketball court in the immediate vicinity. They also offer rafting or canoeing trips, hiking and mountain biking trips, sport fishing, orienteering, the Peter Klepec Olympics and much more.
