The parish church of St. Fabian and Boštjan and St. Jernej
The parish church of St. Jernej is located in the center of Kocevje along the Rinza River. It was built in 1903 in neo-Romanesque style and is adorned with works by some of the leading Slovenian artists.

Church of St. John the Baptist in Kočevska Reka
During and after World War II, many sacral structures were demolished in the closed area of Kočevska Reka and Gotenica, including the Church of St. John the Baptist. In 1999, at the site of the baroque church, a new church was dedicated to the same saint.
