Thematic forestry workshops are the ideal choice for anyone who wants to gain knowledge on various topics of forestry and survival in nature in a short one-day workshop, e.g. identifying edible plants or mushrooms, making fire and clay workshop.

Programme:

At themed forestry workshops, you will be able to acquire dissapearing knowledge - how to light a fire in the forest in wet weather, how to gather lunch in the meadow, how to learn to identify edible mushrooms or find clay in nature and make your own product from it.

At the How to start a fire workshop, you will learn how to start a fire in the forest in various primitive ways in all weather conditions. You will focus on the topic of fire in depth, from the basics to the most advanced techniques and the various fire-lighting methods used by our ancestors.

At the How to gather lunch in nature workshop, you will learn about wild food and various plants. You will learn to recognize which are edible and useful and which are poisonous. You will also prepare a wild meal from the most delicious ones.

At the How to find and identify different local mushrooms workshop, you will look for and identify poisonous and edible mushrooms on a walk through the forest, learn about the effects of their poisons, medicinal properties and use in preparing food.

At the How and where to find clay in nature workshop, you will learn how to find clay in nature suitable for making clay products. You will be guided through all the steps from collecting and shaping the clay, to preparing the hearth and firing the clay on an open fire.

Definitely very special and unique experiences that the participants will remember for a long time.

Participants can choose one of these thematic workshops that is most interesting to them and gain new knowledge about the selected topic.

Part of the workshop is also a lunch-break, which will be prepared over a fire in nature.

Most of the workshops are held seasonally: edible plants and clay workshops (spring-autumn); mushroom workshop (autumn); fire workshop (all year).
