Kozlerjeva domačija (Kozler Homestead)

The Kozler Homestead is located in the heart of the Kočevsko forests. It offers an exceptional opportunity to relax in nature with a touch of homeliness and a modern forest SPA (which includes a jacuzzi and sauna). The homestead has eight beds in large bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large common living room suitable for socializing. Towels, bathrobes for the spa, and slippers are also available.

Parking and two e-bikes are available. An e-charging station for cars will also be available soon.

Upon prior arrangement, breakfast, half board, or all-inclusive can also be provided (with food from local suppliers).

The homestead also has historical value, as it is the birthplace of Peter Kozler, who was a Slovenian politician who drew the first map of a united Slovenia based on more than 5,000 collected documents. Peter Kozler is also one of the pioneers of Slovenian brewing – the UNION brewery was established by merging the Kočevje breweries.

The area around Kozler's homestead is home to an extremely rich animal world. Bears, deer, wolves, lynxes, and other forest animals live here. Bird lovers can explore the Eagle Trail in the immediate vicinity of the homestead. With a little luck and persistence, you will see a pair of white-tailed eagles nesting near Lake Kočevska Reka. Fishing is also possible on the lake, as Lake Kočevska Reka is rich in fish. The area around the lake offers well-maintained trails that are suitable for families with small children as well as older people (and everyone in between).
