The house Bale Bale was built in 2019 and is located in the village of Kuželj in the Kolpa Valley. In the local dialect, ‘bale, bale’ means ‘come, come’. With its name, the house invites you to enjoy the natural resources and the comfort it offers. The house was built with taking the local cultural and architectural heritage into account, but adding a modern touch.

The house was built with Slovenian spruce wood. The central space of the house is open, airy and spacious. The gallery features a comfortable sofa, with an exceptional view of the Kuzelj wall through the roof window.

Inside the house, solid oak wood was used as for building furniture. 

Outside the house you'll also find a wooden house suitable for children to play, or to listen to the flow of the nearby Kolpa River. Large surrounding area is perfect for sports games or to lounge. Outside you'll also fins an outdoor kitchen with a grill and a large bench and table.
