every day from 8:00-16:00.

Camp Jezero Kočevsko**** is located near Lake Kočevje on the outskirts of the town Kočevje. It stretches over an area of 3500m2 and offers accommodation for up to 100 campers. This makes it one of the smaller, but of good quality and pleasant campsites in Slovenia. There are 10 lots for motor homes and trailers and 9 lots for tents; use of space may also be different, and all lots are equipped with electricity.

In the embrace of greenery, the Camp offers its guests 5 wooden “glamping” cottages that accommodate 4 people. Their design is inspired by the former simple forest huts of workers in the forest of Kočevsko. The surroundings are decorated in the style of the lakeside landscape with a combination of local forests, so you will find various types of plants on the side of the cottages; Everything from birch and maple trees to herbs and fruit shrubs.
There is a modern service facility in the Camp that was established in 2016 and offers everything for the convenience of guests – toilets, laundry and drying facilities, as well as a kitchen with an indoor and outdoor dining room. For the entertainment of the youngest visitors, there is a large children's playground made from natural materials and a lawn for ball games. Pets are welcome in the camp. Access to the Lake is in the immediate vicinity, and at the same time with its central location, the campsite is an excellent starting point for excursions to nature or a visit to the town.

We believe in living harmoniously with the surrounding nature and have been awarded an Ecocamping certificate, the assurance that we make economical use of resources and care for environment.

Camp Jezero is the perfect base to explore the region and is an ideal starting point for many outdoor activities. Our location overlooks Rudniško lake, which is one of the cleanest lakes in Slovenia, and home to many bird species and fish. In the summer it is popular with fishermen, swimmers, rowers, sailors and SUP enthusiasts.

Institute Kočevsko joins the initiative of the Slovenian Tourist Organization "Green & Safe" in caring for green, responsible and safe tourism. In accordance with their recommendations, we confirm that in Camp Jezero Kočevsko**** we care for the safety of our guests, respect the national institute of public health (NIJZ) recommendations and implement protocols that are compliant with standardized hygiene and health protocols outlined by the WTTC. We also strive for the principles of sustainable development in the already set forms of operation for a green, active and healthy Slovenia and are looking for opportunities to create new sustainable products and services.
