The Muhvič Campsite is located directly along the Kolpa River, 2 km west of the village Stari trg ob Kolpi, in the settlement Dol.

The Kolpa River runs right next to the camping area, so they also have a private beach. The toilets are nicely decorated, they also have a playground for children, a barbecue area and a covered area for socializing. As part of the campsite, you can also sleep in nicely decorated rooms that share a kitchen and are 100m away from the campsite.

The main attraction for guests is the warm Kolpa River, which is suitable for swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and rafting in the summer. You can rent canoes near the campsite, as well as bicycles. The younger ones are particularly excited about the floating raft from which they can jump into Kolpa.

The surrounding Kočevje forests offer great opportunities for hiking and mountain biking along well-maintained forest trails.

Near the Muhvič campsite there is a restaurant, an inn, a tennis court and a farm with horses.
