The Krempa Forest Reserve is the focal point of the Borovets Nature Trail. The Krempa meadow pass area above the Kolpe canyon has always been a popular excursion destination, and in the summer it gets coloured in white by daffodils, which have the southernmost habitat here in Slovenia. There is also a crossroads of other mountain trails that descend towards the Kolpa, offering a beautiful view of the mighty trees of the forest of Krokar, which has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2017.
